    Description

From a Dutch estate sale I’m offering a set of 12 antique pewter spoons in a painted wooden rack of Dutch origin. The 12 spoons are all hallmarked with a crowned so called “Tudor rose” and the makers initials HK, from the maker Hendrik Kamphof in Zwolle. The spoons date from the mid-19
    th
-cent.. All the spoons are hallmarked identical, so it’s actually a complete set which is very hard to find these days. The wooden rack is painted in (original??) black with golden accents and was made of pine. There has been some woodworm in the rack but this has been treated, the original hand-crafted nails are visible at the back. There are no signs of repairs on the spoons and overall the spoons are in a good condition (except for some dents and some small cracks because of the age).
The format of the rack including the spoons is approx. 19¼” x 10” (49 cm x 25 cm). This spoon rack was bought at an estate sale from an old farm house in Huizen
